Fankaty Dabo

Chelsea.
Born on 11 October 1995 in Southwark, Fankaty signed after a six-week trial period at Under-12s and has played everywhere in his schoolboy years before finding a position at right-back. Now a first-year scholar, he has already represented England at Under-17 level and has a superb engine.

He made four sub appearances in 2011/12 while a schoolboy.

During the current campaign, the young defender has flitted between our Under-18s and Under-21s, playing league games for both while also featuring in the FA Youth Cup and NextGen Series.

Dabo was an unused substitute in both the semi-final and final of the NextGen Series, and most recently came off the bench to replace Ola Aina in the first leg of our semi-final FA Youth Cup win over Liverpool at Anfield.
