PORTUGAL PIP ACADEMY PAIR
Two Chelsea Academy players were part of a second narrow defeat for England Under-17s in the annual Algarve tournament for that age group.
Having lost 2-1 on Friday despite taking the lead against Germany, the young England side suffered a similar fate on Sunday against host nation Portugal.
Chelsea schoolboy Ola Aina started the game and came off at half-time with England leading 1-0. Portugal scored twice in the first 11 minutes of the second-half before our youth team midfielder Ruben Loftus-Check (pictured), who started the Germany game, was introduced with an hour played.
England conclude their tournament on Tuesday against the Netherlands.
