Steve 'Jock' Finnieston first joined Chelsea at the tender age of 12 before professionally signing for the Blues in 1971.
The striker spent some time on loan to Cardiff City in 1975, but it was the season of 1976-77 which was his most prolific at Chelsea when he scored 24 league goals, including a crucial winner against Nottingham Forest and a final day hat-trick against Hull City.
After a stint at Sheffield United, Steve retired in 1980 at the age of 25 due to injuries. He subsequently had careers as a postman and brick specialist and is now a professional gambler alongside working for Mencap.
Alongside his passions for darts and snooker Steve can often be seen golfing with fellow Old Boys Graham Wilkins and Clive Walker. He is also an avid reader and talented writer, as shown in his weekly Old Boys column for the Chelsea magazine.
