A fantastic athlete with great pace, Peter played as a left winger for Chelsea from 1979 to 1984, making his debut against Wrexham when he was just 18-years-old. During his four years with the Blues, Peter scored four League goals.

He also opened the scoring in an FA Cup 5th round win over Liverpool before leaving Chelsea to join Oxford United in 1984.

Although an injury led him to retirement in 1989, he remains at Oxford United and works as community officer for the club.
