Jhon Pirez

Born 20/2/93 in Montevideo, Uruguay

A tall, right-footed striker with good stamina, Jhon, after recovering from a 10-month injury lay-off, spent the 2012/13 season on loan at Leganes in the Spanish third tier, where he returned for the current campaign in early August.

While he was unable to establish himself as a regular in the side last season, Pirez still managed to have a relatively productive campaign, and ended his time in Spain having played 10 matches and scoring two goals. He played a total of 241 minutes of football for Leganes.

Previously with Defensor Sporting in his native Uruguay, he has played for his country at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-20 level where he made his debut at 17.
