ANOTHER OSCAR JOINS THE SQUAD
Chelsea hosted a very special guest and his family when eight-year-old Oscar Pisano visited Cobham last week.
His dad, Matt (main picture right), who is also a Chelsea fan, explained how much the day meant to the family.
'I'd just like to say thanks to everyone at the club who have been so fantastic, and have really made Oscar's day,' he said.
'He is obsessed with football and Chelsea and to meet his heroes has been fantastic for him. We're all massive fans, and it's just great for all of us. It's an amazing opportunity to be able to do this.
'The club invited us down, and for the game on Sunday. It's a really difficult time for us but this is helping and it just makes it amazing for Oscar . He is such a great kid. We are so proud of him and he is so brave coping with everything he has to.
'Everybody here has been so supportive. He has spent a lot of time in hospital and needs blood transfusions every week to keep him going but he just gets on with it.'
As well as watching training and meeting the players, Oscar was given a tour of the facility by captain Terry, and was invited to Sunday's game against Liverpool, where he watched our 1-1 draw against the Reds, and also got to see behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge.
