DREAM THE BLUES WITH CHELSEA AND SAMSUNG

Chelsea Football Club and Samsung today (Monday) launched an exciting new campaign to provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for youngsters around the world.

The Dream the Blues campaign, spanning eight countries across four continents, aims to reward football-mad youths and teach them the Chelsea way of playing, with the 16 most passionate participants picked from Mexico, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, China, Thailand, Brazil and Turkey progressing through to the Blues Camp in England, where they will train at Cobham and meet the Chelsea squad.

The campaign will kick off in Mexico from December 22, with the local youth football camps ending in Turkey in April 2013. The Blues Camp will happen in London in May.

Chelsea players Juan Mata, Fernando Torres, Victor Moses and Oscar have been appointed as campaign ambassadors to promote the campaign to football fans and Samsung consumers around the world.

Various versions of campaign videos, featuring the ambassadors, have recently been launched to introduce the campaign. Torres said: 'We are happy to be part of this exciting campaign, and be able to influence football-loving youths around the world to dream and achieve their dreams on football.

'We hope many Samsung and Chelsea fans to participate in and be inspired by this campaign, and we do look forward to meeting the kids next year in London.'

Yungkook Lee, Vice President and Head of Global Sports Marketing at Samsung added: 'We are very pleased to bring this campaign to more youths around the world with more opportunities. As the world's largest consumer electronics company and an aspirational brand, Samsung believes in supporting and motivating youths to find and expand possibilities for themselves.

'Together with Chelsea, we hope to continue to provide excitement and great experience to football fans around the world.'
