With February half-term coming up, now's the time to book your Soccer School for aspiring footballers to learn how to play the Chelsea way.

The club's also offering a 10 per cent discount for any Soccer School place booked online.

Soccer Schools are the perfect way to keep budding young footballers busy during the holidays, and provide expert coaching in a fun and safe environment.

Daily sessions will be taking place throughout half-term in London, Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Essex, Surrey and Berkshire and there is a variety of courses available.

A wide range of ages are welcome, with the Mini-Kicker sessions providing an introduction to the game for four to five-year-olds before the regular soccer schools take over for those aged between six and 14.

The Mini-Kicker course eases young children into football with a basic introduction to the rules of the game. It encourages them to learn the basic techniques and communication skills needed to play the sport in a higher age group.

A typical day at a Chelsea Soccer School is divided evenly into training sessions to develop skills and small-sided games and mini-tournaments to aid team work. The advanced courses take things further with more intense sessions for those with a higher level of fitness that regularly train and play at team level.

There are also specialised goalkeeper courses available, which see smaller groups focus on the unique skills needed to excel between the posts, before joining the rest of the players for practice games.

The Chelsea Foundation's dedicated coaches all hold valid CRB, FA Coaching, Safeguarding Children and First Aid certificates to ensure the highest levels of both coaching and safety.

All soccer schools are also dedicated to promoting the Chelsea Foundation's values of fair play, respect and discipline as well as encouraging team play and developing social skills.
