Rafael Benitez makes five changes to the team which beat West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

In defence, captain John Terry returns to skipper the side, while Ryan Bertrand also starts, with Ashley Cole and Cesar Azpilicueta dropping down to the bench.

John Mikel Obi, meanwhile, comes into the midfield at the expense of Ramires who hasn't travelled.

Yossi Benayoun starts wide on the right-hand side of the supporting trio tucked in behind lone striker Fernando Torres, who starts ahead of the ineligible Demba Ba.

With Juan Mata starting on the bench, Oscar is expected to occupy a more central role.
