JOSE MORAIS - ASSISTANT FIRST TEAM COACH
Jose Morais is the only member of staff brought to the club for Jose Mourinho's second spell as manager who had not worked here before.
A former professional player in Portugal, Jose enjoyed coaching roles in Germany and his native Portugal before linking up with Mourinho at Porto for a season in 2003.
That year ended with Champions League success, but manager, club and coach would go their separate ways, Morais on to manage in his homeland plus Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Germany and with the Yemeni national team before Mourinho called again, this time at Inter MIlan.
Scout and analyst Andre Villas-Boas had decided to try his own hand at management, and Morais was invited into the coaching setup at the San Siro in 2009, helping Inter to their first Champions League triumph in 45 years a year later.
When Mourinho opted to join Real Madrid, he took Morais, as well as trusted colleagues Rui Faria and Silvino Louro with him. They spent three years at the Bernabeu, lifting La Liga in 2012 before agreeing to come to Stamford Bridge in June 2013.
