WORLD CUP DRAW: IT'S ETO'O AGAINST THE BRAZILIANS

Samuel Eto'o will face our Brazilian contingent at the World Cup next summer, following this evening's draw in Bahia. Hosts Brazil - managed by Luiz Felipe Scolari - included our quartet of Oscar, Ramires, David Luiz and Willian in their most recent squad. They open the tournament against Croatia in Sao Paulo and face Eto'o's Cameroon in the final group game. Mexico make up Group A.

The only other possible group stage Chelsea clash involves Ghana and Germany, represented by Michael Essien, Christian Atsu and Andre Schurrle. The two sides, who also faced off in South Africa three-and-a-half years ago, meet in Group G's opening game in Salvador.

England face a stiff test in Group E - Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica their three opponents. Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole and Gary Cahill will be hoping to feature for the Three Lions.

Reigning champions Spain, who could include Juan Mata, Fernando Torres and Cesar Azpilicueta in their squad, face a rematch of the 2010 final against Holland.

Nigeria - with John Mikel Obi, Kenneth Omeruo and Victor Moses - are in Group F with Argentina, Bosnia-Hercegovina and Iran. The African Cup of Nations winners will be hopeful of progression.

A first World Cup appearance since 2002 appears to have given Belgium, for whom Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Thibaut Courtois could feature, a kind draw. They are joined in Group H by Algeria, Russia and South Korea.
