Jose Mourinho makes six changes to the side which started against Liverpool on Sunday, with Ashley Cole coming in for the injured Brnislav Ivanovic, ensuring Cesar Azpilicueta will revert to his natural right-back position.

In midfield, the injured Frank Lampard and suspended David Luiz are replaced by the returning Ramires and John Mikel Obi, who played the second half against Liverpool.

Eden Hazard retains his place in the side and makes his 50th Premier League start, but both Oscar and Willian drop down to the bench, with Juan Mata and Andre Schurrle starting for the Blues.

Fernando Torres operates as the lone striker with Sunday's matchwinner Samuel Eto'o and Demba Ba both named as substitutes.

Youngster Tomas Kalas, meanwhile, is named as a substitute for the first time in the league.
