Chelsea fan Isaac Evans enjoyed a day to remember on Thursday as he spent the morning watching training before meeting his heroes at our Cobham training ground.

The visit was arranged via the Chelsea Foundation, with the seven-year-old and his dad, Andy, watching the first team train before meeting the players afterwards for pictures and autographs.

Isaac, who underwent a bone marrow transplant seven months ago for a life-threatening illness, met all of his favourite players, including his hero Frank Lampard.

'It was amazing to meet the team and see them training,' said Isaac.

Dad Andy said: 'It was a fantastic experience for Isaac and something positive he can remember in the future after having been so poorly.'

The entire squad stopped to sign Isaac's shirt as well as some other memorabilia and the youngster added: 'Meeting the players and talking to them and shaking hands with them was wicked! They were all really nice to me and David Luiz was very funny.'
