CLAIRE RAFFERTY
Date of birth: 11/01/1989 Claire was introduced to football when her brother asked her to play in goal and once she'd had a taste for the game there was no turning back. Her first team was Kent Magpies, who she joined aged only 10, before moving on to Millwall to play for their Under 12s. It wasn't until 2007 that Claire joined Chelsea, where her speed and accurate left-foot became a vital part of the starting line-up. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? What superpower would you have and why? What piece of advice would you have for aspiring female footballers? When did you start playing football and why? When did you realise you could play at this level? What are your strengths on the pitch? What are your strengths off the pitch? What are your hobbies outside of football? What's your most memorable moment playing for Chelsea Ladies?
