Kate began playing for her local football team Valley Green aged eight. Since then, Kate has played for Colchester United, Watford and Millwall.
Signed by Ladies manager Matt Beard in the summer of 2011, he described her as a 'Mark-Hughes style striker'.
Kate plays in the centre forward position and boasts fantastic passing abilities and very good vision, making her the master of through balls. Combine that with her winning attitude and movement off the ball and Kate's abilities up front cannot be questioned.
As well as at club level, Kate has played international football and has represented her country, playing for England Under 15s, Under 17s, Under 19s and Under 23s.

An Oompa Lumpa for Willy Wonka!

Be invisible so I could hide every time I did something wrong! Oh and play tricks on people…
What piece of advice would you have for aspiring female footballers?
Eat well, train hard and say no to strangers!
When did you start playing football and why?
Started playing at school at about seven, I was friends with all the boys so just had a kick around with them.
When did you realise you could play at this level?
I'm still waiting… I have to prove myself this year!
What are your strengths on the pitch?
Work rate, playing through balls, running at players.
What are your strengths off the pitch?
I'm laid back, easy going and like to have a laugh.
What are your hobbies outside of football?
Going out for food, cinema, nights out with friends.
What's your most memorable moment playing for Chelsea Ladies?
Making my debut… I'm hoping there will be a lot of memorable moments this season.
