Chelsea Ladies and Iceland International Edda Gardarsdottir attended the Merton School Sport Partnerships Secondary School Finals today (Wednesday 1 May) at Tooting & Mitcham United's Imperial Fields.

The Secondary Schools' Finals brings together some of the region's talented male and female players who took part in a series of games throughout the day testing themselves against the best players in the borough.

Chelsea Ladies assistant manager Paul Green attended the finals in the hope of identifying any future Chelsea Ladies stars who can follow Edda's pathway into the FA Women's Super League.

Edda passed on tips on how to make it to the top of the ladies game to aspiring young players, as well as handing out Chelsea Ladies gifts and information on the Ladies forthcoming Super League season.

Chelsea Ladies next FA Women's Super League game is at Wheatsheaf Park, Staines on 12 May with a game against Liverpool - kick-off 2pm. Chelsea Ladies will also be in Continental Cup action on 19 May against Liverpool at Imperial Fields, Tooting & Mitcham - kick-off 2pm.
