Chelsea Ladies' Eniola Aluko was on target for England as they warmed up for the European Championships with a 1-1 draw against Japan at Burton.

Aluko's Blues' team-mate Dunia Susi also started for Hope Powell's side in a game watched by 5,000 school children from around the country.

Having passed up a decent opportunity moments earlier, Aluko opened the scoring four minutes before half-time, latching on to a wonderful Rachel Yankey pass and finishing impressively, her 14th goal at international level.

Susi was replaced by Lucy Bronze with 24 minutes left to play, and 10 minutes later the world champions drew level courtesy of a goal from Nahomi Kawasumi.

England set off for Euro' 2013 on Monday, and their campaign begins on 12 July with a game against Spain.
