RAFFERTY BACKS RESPECT SCHEME
Chelsea and England Ladies star Claire Rafferty showed her Respect last week by submitting an entry in to our poster competition.
The idea behind the scheme is to get players and clubs showcasing what Respect means to them and promote the importance of playing football in a fun, positive environment.
Claire, who represented Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics, put pen to paper at our Cobham training ground to create a modern-day masterpiece.
Following Claire's fantastic efforts, we're looking for more poster entries to highlight the good work of the Respect programme. Posters can come in any form - such as drawn on paper with crayons, or put together electronically - and can showcase anything to do with the Respect programme, from stamping out bad behaviour or showing a team doing the Respect handshake. Entry details are below - remember you can also Tweet and Facebook your posters to us also.
The winning entry will be bee seen by thousands of players throughout the county as it will be used to publicise a dedicated Respect Festival held across Surrey from 1-2 March 2014.
Entries can be emailed to email@example.com or posted to Frank Thompson, Surrey County FA, Connaught House, 36 Bridge Street, Leatherhead, Surrey, KT22 8BZ. The closing date for entries is 5pm Monday 2 December 2013.
