With many of us being encouraged to stay at home and practice social distancing right now, we can be forgiven for spending more time than usual in front of the television.
But with so much choice out there, often we might find ourselves spending an inordinate amount of time flicking through thumbnails trying to choose something to watch.
Help is at hand though, courtesy of Jorginho, who has given us his top three recommendations for good viewing on Netflix.
1. Queen of the South (series)
In this crime drama, a women called Teresa Mendoza is forced to run and seek refuge in America after her drug-dealing boyfriend is murdered in Mexico. Seeking to avenge his death, she teams up with an unlikely figure from her past to bring down the leader of the drug trafficking ring that has her on the run.
2. Vikings (series)
Jorginho’s second recommendation transports us to the brutal and mysterious world of Ragnar Lothbrok, a Viking warrior and farmer who yearns to explore - and raid - the distant shores across the ocean. The eagle-eyed among us might recognise the landscapes of Ireland and Canada in this series, as that’s where it was filmed!
3. Power (series)
Finally, our resident regista joins many of his team-mates in recommending Power, which is all about a popular and successful nightclub boss who moonlights as a drug dealer to New York City A-listers. Produced by 50 Cent, no less!
