Lucky Chelsea Foundation Lottery member Penny Lines scooped £10,000 in the jackpot draw this weekend as £20,000 was shared between 10 finalists.
The Lottery finalists lined up on the pitch just before the start of the Stoke City game on Saturday for the first Annual Jackpot Draw. There were no losers as each of the finalists won a share of the jackpot total of £20,000 in the live draw.
Chelsea legend John Hollins was joined by head of communications and community affairs Emma Wilkinson to draw numbered balls from a Tombola machine. Each of the finalists lined up in Chelsea t-shirts numbered 1 to 10 as the balls were drawn. And there were no losers because the cash prizes ranged from £50 to the first prize of £10,000.
'It still hasn't really sunk in that I've won,' said Penny, who won the top prize. 'I felt numb when my number was announced.'
It wasn't only Penny who was ecstatic at winning the top prize but also her daughter, who left for her first year of university on Sunday.
'It will be perfect for my youngest daughter, she's already made a claim but we may treat ourselves to a holiday as well,' added Penny.
'We're season ticket holders who go every week so it was a fantastic experience going out on the pitch and seeing the players so close.'
Congratulations to all the 10 finalists, who are listed below:
1st Prize £10,000 Penny Lines
