Fabio Borini has joined Swansea City on loan until 30 May.

The Italian Under 21 striker, who has not featured in the Chelsea first team this season having made one start and seven sub appearances last season, has recently recovered from shoulder surgery he underwent in November.

In the reserves this campaign the 19-year-old has scored 11 goals in seven games, including one in the 7-2 win over Blackpool on Monday and three in his last four appearances at that level.

At Swansea, who are currently third in the Championship, he we play under former Chelsea youth and reserve team manager Brendan Rodgers and alongside former team-mates Scott Sinclair and Frank Nouble.
