This evening in Denmark Ryan Bertrand will play a part in trying to win England Under 21s a place in the European Championship semi-finals. It's a good time for the young left-back to feature in our series questioning players on their most memorable games played and watched...

Favourite game played
He may have over 150 first-team games to his name while on loan to Championship clubs but understandably it is the one time so far he has run on in a Chelsea shirt that is the game selected by Bertrand, especially as during that substitute appearance back in April, the 21-year-old crossed for Florent Malouda to score in a 3-1 win.

'Just to come on against Birmingham for my debut was a great bonus to begin with,' Bertrand says.

'It was a good moment for me personally but then to get the assist as well and the reaction of the players after that was pretty special. The crowd took to me as well so it was a brilliant all-round experience. I was really grateful for the crowd's reception.'

Favourite game watched:
Again it is to Stamford Bridge for the best game Bertrand has watched as a spectator but this time the clock is rewound to when he was a mere 15 years old.

'It's got to be the game when we played Barcelona at Stamford Bridge a few years back, when we had Damien Duff and Eidur Gudjohnsen still in the side,' he decides.

'It's the game we won 4-2, and they both scored but there was also Ronaldhino's goal and great stuff like that.

'I was sitting in the Shed End and it was one of the first games I came to, it was just after I signed up. It was amazing to see.'
