Petr Cech has confirmed that he expects to be fit to represent the Czech Republic in their final Euro 2012 group game against Poland on Saturday after coming through a training session earlier today.

The Chelsea goalkeeper, who skippered the side following the early withdrawal of Tomas Rosicky in Tuesday's 2-1 win against Greece, injured his left shoulder towards the end of the match, but remains confident he will have recovered fully in time for the must-win game.

'I had a training session with a modified programme,' he said. 'I came through very well. I am satisfied that my fitness has improved. I am still not OK, but there are still two days until the [Poland] match and I know now that I will be 100 per cent  fit.'
