Fernando Torres has warned his Spain teammates against complacency ahead of their final Group C game against Croatia tonight at Euro 2012.

The Chelsea striker scored a brace during Spain's 4-0 win against Republic of Ireland on Thursday, but with the two sides level on four points going into the game, two points ahead of Italy, it's still all to play for, and following the surprising elimination of Russia over the weekend, focus, as Torres admitted, could be key.

'The result Russia had is a good wake-up call for us and all of the teams that we need to win the last group game,' he said.

'Even with six points (from your opening two games) you can go out.'

Slaven Bilic's side began their campaign with a comfortable 3-1 victory over the Irish, before coming from behind to draw 1-1 with Italy last Thursday, and Torres is well aware of the threat they will pose, particularly with the in-form Mario Madzukic leading the line, as they look to book their place in the quarter-finals.

'Croatia need to win as well and we have watched videos of them and are aware of their strengths and know how to approach the game,' said the 28-year-old.

'We believe we can play our football and win the game but it's important to respect the opponent.'
