Three lucky Chelsea Twitter competition winners and their guests experienced life in the fast lane on Thursday, when they visited the Sauber team garage at Silverstone ahead of today's (Sunday's) Formula 1 race.

Chelsea and Sauber joined forces to create a unique partnership at the end of April, and our club badge is now present on their racing cars. Team drivers Kamui Kobayashi and Sergio Perez have both been pictured with the FA Cup, while the Japanese also travelled to Munich to see the Champions League Final, and chatted with the winners in Sauber's mobile motorhome at Silverstone.

After arriving at the circuit, the group were taken straight to the Sauber base before being shown around the team garage, where a team of engineers and mechanics were constructing the car ahead of Friday's practice session.

There was also a stroll down the pit lane to take in the other team's garages, before returning to the paddock where drivers like Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso were speaking with the media, and finally there was time to relax back inside the motorhome to reflect on a fantastic day behind the scenes.

It has been an encouraging start to the season so far for Sauber, with Perez finishing third at the Canadian Grand Prix last month, and you can keep up with their progress this weekend by following @OfficialSF1Team on Twitter, where you will also find plenty more exclusive @chelseafc content, news and competitions.
