UNDER 21 LEAGUE COMES TO THE BRIDGE

Posted on: Tue 28 Aug 2012

Our Under 21s will be looking to secure a first win in the new-look league when we take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, kick-off 4pm, and supporters are encouraged to come down and show your support for the youngsters.

Having opened our campaign with a goalless draw against Manchester City at Brentford's Griffin Park, Dermot Drummy will be eager for his side to secure maximum points when Wolves head to west London.

For a stalemate, the game against Atillio Lombardo's men was an entertaining one, and while a draw was probably a fair result, the Blues had the better of the chances, with Billy Clifford coming closest to snatching the win when his late strike hit the bar.

The visitors will be heading into the game in good spirits having followed up a creditable draw against Liverpool with a 2-1 win against Fulham.

Tickets for the match are now on general sale (maximum 10 per person), priced at £5 for adults and £3 for both juniors and seniors.

Tickets will go OFF sale online and with the call centre on Friday 31 August at 12noon. Tickets will then be sold in person only at the box office until 12noon on Saturday 1 September.

Customers should note that no tickets will be sold after 12noon on Saturday 1 September, and all supporters will need to purchase a ticket to gain entry.

Disabled supporters should contact the disability department to purchase tickets.

For those supporters who are unable to make it down to Stamford Bridge, the match will be broadcast live and exclusive on Chelsea TV.
