John Terry returns to the Chelsea line-up following his suspension for the Super Cup match and is partnered in central defence by David Luiz.

Ashley Cole is also fit to start with Ryan Bertrand playing ahead of him and Ramires on the right of midfield. Eden Hazard is expected to play in the centre.

There is a place on the bench for the first time for our new right-back Cesar Azpilicueta.

Jose Bosingwa starts his second league game for QPR who make just one change from their last outing - new-signing Julio Cesar taking over in goal from Robert Green.
