It was a successful Sunday for the young Chelsea players completing their participation in qualification tournaments for the Under-19 European Championships.

Pride of place went to striker Islam Feruz (pictured). He scored a hat-trick for Scotland U19s who overcame a 2-1 deficit at half-time to beat Switzerland 4-3.

All of the 17-year-old's goals came in the second half. He headed the first, then scored with his left foot before curling the winner into the top corner with his right with six minutes to go.

The Scots finish top of their group by four points in a tournament they hosted.

Nathan Ake was again part of the Netherlands U19s' defence as they too made it three wins out of three in a different group. Victory came against host nation Poland, 3-1 the final score.

The Dutch were group winners by three points and both they and Scotland now go into an elite round of qualification matches in the spring with the hope of reaching the finals in Lithuania in the summer.
