BAMFORD'S SECOND LOAN SPELL AT MK DONS

Patrick Bamford has today (Thursday) joined MK Dons on loan until 20 May.

It will be the 19-year-old's second loan spell at the club, having previously joined Karl Robinson's side back in November, a period which came to a premature end after he sustained a hamstring injury.

During his initial spell, Bamford, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Nottingham Forest last January, made two appearances.

Bamford has scored four goals for our Under-21s during the current campaign, in wins against Manchester City and Crystal Palace, as well as in home defeats against Middlesbrough and Liverpool.

MK Dons are currently 10th in League One. They face Barnsley in the fifth round of the FA Cup having eliminated Queens Park Rangers last weekend.
