Chelsea players Ryan Bertrand, Paulo Ferreira and Ross Turnbull were the guests of honour as part of a week of football and flying fun at Canary Wharf on Wednesday, hosted by our global airline partner Delta Air Lines.

Celebrating their partnership with the Blues, Delta has been in Canary Wharf all week showcasing their flat-bed seats and running prize giveaways alongside an artificial shoot-out arena where teams from banks in the area competed for a place in the final of the Canary Wharf Cup.

The competition reached its exciting conclusion yesterday as City Slickers took on Morgan Stanley in a nail-biting showdown, where not only was there a packed crowd of spectators, there were some surprise visitors too.

Ferreira, Bertrand and Turnbull were present to witness the final and present the trophy to the eventual winners, City Slickers.

Having watched the teams perform, Bertrand was clearly impressed. 'The shoot-out was fun to watch, you can tell some of the guys here have been practising,' he said.

While there, they also took some time to try out the flat-bed seats which Turnbull said 'were great and really spacious, especially for a man as tall as me.'

Having presented the trophy, the players then took part in a signing session for fans. You too can try out the flat-bed seats, test your shooting ability, enter prize draws and more at the Delta Pavilion, situated in Canary Wharf until Friday.
