With the new Women's Super League season little over a week away, the official Chelsea website brings you the latest developments from the Ladies…

New signing
Emma Hayes' squad has been bolstered ahead of the upcoming campaign by the arrival of Naomi Cole, who embarks on her second stint with the Blues after re-joining the club from Lewes.

The England Under-23 defender is equally comfortable playing at right-back or left-back, reads the game well and is confident in possession.

Cole signed for Lewes from Chelsea at the culmination of the 2011 WSL campaign, and has represented England at Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 level.

Rescheduled fixture
Our Continental Cup clash away at Doncaster Rovers Belles, which fell victim to the weather, will now take place on Sunday 28 April, kick-off 6pm, at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Injury update
There was disappointment for two of our internationals when both Carly Telford and Hannah Blundell were forced to withdraw from their respective England squads through injury.

Goalkeeper Telford was part of Hope Powell's senior squad who take on Canada in a friendly later this month, while Blundell was part of the Under-19 squad who will play a UEFA 2nd qualifying round match against Hungary on Saturday.

Both players are recovering and will stay at Cobham in order to continue their rehabilitation.

Capital clash set for live coverage
Meanwhile, our WSL London derby away at Arsenal has been chosen for live television broadcast. The match, which takes place at Borehamwood on Thursday 6 June, kick-off 7.45pm, will be shown live on ESPN.

Trio live on Chelsea TV
Three members of the Chelsea Ladies will be appearing on Chelsea TV's Friday Night Live tomorrow night.

Carly Telford, Danielle Buet and Claire Rafferty will be live in the studio, looking ahead to the new WSL season, which starts on Sunday 14 April, and answering supporters' questions from 6.30pm.

Chelsea Ladies take on Birmingham City on the opening day of the new WSL season on Sunday 14 April, kick-off 2pm. The game will take place at Wheatsheaf Park, home of Staines Town FC. Tickets are available on the day, priced £5 for adults, £3 concessions and free of charge for Under-16s.
