BRAZILIAN PAIR IN CONFEDERATIONS SQUAD

Posted on: Tue 14 May 2013

Oscar and David Luiz have been named in Luiz Felipe Scolari's Brazil squad for the Confederations Cup.

Team-mate Ramires, however, is not included in the squad that hosts the tournament next month, pitting each of the reigning continental champions against each other as a warm-up to next summer's World Cup.

Brazil are drawn in Group A with Italy, Japan and Mexico, while Chelsea pair John Mikel Obi and Victor Moses are likely to be in the Nigeria squad in Group B, where there is also possible involvement for Spaniards Fernando Torres, Juan Mata and Cesar Azpilicueta. Uruguay and Tahiti are the other teams in that group.

News on further selections will come here on the official club website.
