HODGSON CALLS ON CHELSEA TRIO

Three Chelsea players have been named in Roy Hodgson's latest England squad, which was announced earlier today [Thursday].

Ashley Cole, Gary Cahill and Frank Lampard, who all featured in last night's Europa League final win over Benfica, have been named in the 22-man squad ahead of two upcoming friendlies.

England take on Republic of Ireland at Wembley on Wednesday 29 May, before facing Luiz Felipe Scolari's Brazil in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday 2 June.
