Helen Ward was on target again for Wales in Slovakia as Jarmo Matikainen's side were held to a 1-1 draw.

Wales went in front in the early stages of the match, Ward on target once more having scored against the same opposition earlier in the week. But Patrícia Hmírová replied 12 minutes into the second half with a chip over the keeper to equalise for Slovakia.

Sofia Jakobsson's Sweden also played out a 1-1 draw with Brazil. Nilla Fischer's sixth-minute opener from Antonia Göransson's corner was so nearly added to by Sweden as a Caroline Seger effort hit both posts. However, Brazil tied the game through a penalty on 31 minutes, Andressa firing into the bottom corner.

Hannah Blundell and Jess Myers have both been named in the England Under-19s' 26-player squad, as preparations begin for this summer's Euro Finals.

Mo Marley led her side to Wales 2013 after seeing off Norway, Hungary and Serbia in the qualifiers last month.

The Young Lions have been placed in Group A, alongside Denmark, France and the host nation.

Marley's charges will meet up at St. George's Park on 1 July for a three-day camp where the former Everton Ladies manager will assess her extended crop of players.
