Chelsea Ladies' Sofia Jakobsson attended the Colne Valley presentation evening in Staines along with assistant manager Paul Green earlier this month.

The Sweden international passed on tips on how to make it to the top of the ladies game to the aspiring young players as well as presenting all of the trophies on the night.

Striker Jakobsson, in her first season as a Chelsea player, was delighted to attend the event.

'It was a great to meet so many young girls who all love football,' she said. 'They have a real passion for the game and want to one day play in the FA WSL.

'Colne Valley are a very well run club and it was a pleasure to give my support to the event on the night.'

The Chelsea Ladies' next Super League game is at Wheatsheaf Park in Staines on Sunday 4 August against Doncaster Rovers Belles, kick-off 2pm.
