SUBSIDISED TRAVEL FOR NORTH EAST TRIPS

Posted on: Thu 26 Sep 2013

Our away matches at both Newcastle United and Sunderland are the latest to be selected for subsidised travel for those supporters attending.

The Blues will make two trips to the north east in the coming months, with the game against Newcastle taking place on Saturday 2 November, kick-off 12.45pm, and our trip to the Stadium of Light coming on Wednesday 4 December, kick-off 7.45pm.

Supporters travelling to the Newcastle game will be able to purchase subsidised return train tickets priced £10 per person, which depart London Kings Cross at 7.30am and arrive in Newcastle at 11.15am. The return journey is scheduled to leave Newcastle at 5.35pm and arrive back in London at 10pm.

While the club did make every attempt to provide a train service to Sunderland, unfortunately we were unable to do so. However, we will be providing coach travel as a replacement for the train, once again priced £10 return per person. Further information on departure times for the Sunderland match will be announced in due course.

The subsidised travel scheme began earlier this season with our trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United, and continued for the trips to Everton and Swindon Town, as well as next week's game against Norwich City.
