Chelsea Academy striker Isaiah Brown (pictured) scored two of England Under-17s' goals as they beat Republic of Ireland convincingly on Tuesday afternoon.

A 6-0 win in their third and final game in a first qualifying round tournament for the next European Under-17 Championships ensured England finished top their group, having already beaten hosts Armenia and Gibraltar, scoring 12 goals without reply in those two matches.

Brown, who signed for Chelsea from West Brom in the summer and has scored four goals for our Under-21s this season, hit the first and fourth of England's goals today, adding to the one he scored against Gibraltar.

Chelsea's two other players in the squad were also involved, striker Dominic Solanke playing the first 58 minutes and midfielder Isaac Christie-Davies coming on in the same minute.

England Under-17s progress to an elite round of qualifiers next year.
