The Chelsea Foundation and charity Regenerate both received cheques for £500 prior to our game with Crystal Palace on behalf of the Chelsea Supporters Group.

The Chelsea Supporters Group raised the funds at their annual 11-a-side tournament at our Cobham training ground last July and opted to split the funds between the Foundation and Regenerate, a charity which works with young people and families in Roehampton and estates across London, helping to transform lives and communities from the inside out.

Peter Trenter, vice-chairman of the Chelsea Supporters Group, said: 'We hold the supporters' tournament every year at Cobham, which Chelsea gives us free of charge, and it's a good way to raise money for charity.

'This year we had a vote and decided to give the money to the Foundation and Regenerate, both worthy causes, who do great things in our community.

'The annual competition is great fun and we also have a raffle as well as other fundraising activity throughout the year.'

The competition in July saw ten teams compete for the Kyle Broadbent Memorial Trophy with Chelski Dynamo successfully defending their trophy with victory over Blue and White Army in the final.

Simon Taylor, Head of the Chelsea FC Foundation, said: 'Chelsea fans have always been incredibly generous and supportive of the Foundation, and our charity partners, throughout the years.

'Our sincere thanks go to the Chelsea Supporters Group for the donation and congratulations to Chelski Dynamo for winning the competition.'
