Dominic Solanke scored twice as England's Under-17 side turned around a 1-0 deficit to beat Belgium 2-1 in a friendly at St George's Park.

In the first of two England Under-17 internationals against Belgium this week, ahead of a friendly tournament in Portugal which begins next month, England's youngsters conceded first in the 72nd minute. However, within five minutes our Academy player Solanke levelled, and he then fired in the winner from 10 yards out in the 90th minute. The young striker has been in scintillating form for our Under-18 side of late, too, netting nine goals in his past five outings at that level.

Isaac Christie-Davies, a midfielder who has played for our Under-18 side four times this season, also started the game.

England's Under-17s take on Belgium at St George's Park again this Thursday.
