Three of our Academy players have been called up to the England Under-18 squad for a double-header against Croatia next month. Midfielders Charlie Colkett and Kasey Palmer have been selected in Neil Dewsnip's squad, along with winger Alex Kiwomya (pictured above).

Kiwomya, 17, is the most experienced of the trio having played an important role in our FA Youth Cup win in 2012, and he is now a regular for our Under-21 side, featuring 12 times so far this season. He is also an ever-present in our current UEFA Youth Champions League campaign and he has represented England at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 level.

Kasey Palmer, also 17, is a midfielder who can play in the middle or out wide. He is a regular in our Under-18 side having played in 15 of our 18 league games to date, scoring five goals. He represented England's Under-18 side for the first time in October, having previously played at Under-17 level.

This is the first time Charlie Colkett has been called up to represent the Three Lions at the Under-18 age group, having more recently featured for their Under-17s. Injury has restricted the creative midfielder, 17, to nine appearances for our Under-18 side this season.

England face Croatia twice in three days, on 3 March and 5 March, and we'll keep you up to date on this website with how our youngsters get on.
