TEAM NEWS: CHELSEA V CELTIC

Mikel John Obi (pictured) starts his first game for Chelsea in a midfield that also contains Lassana Diarra for his first pre-season start.

 

Paulo Ferreira returns to right-back after two games as a stand-in centre-back. John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho are the central pair.

 

New signings Michael Ballack, Andriy Shevchenko, Salomon Kalou and Hilario start tonight's game on the bench. Arjen Robben, who began last night's game in Holland is joined by Didier Drogba and Shaun Wright-Phillips in a front three.

 

For Celtic, former Chelsea midfielder Jiri Jarosik starts and will provide attacking support from midfield for summer signing from Wolves, Kenny Miller. Former Leicester man Neil Lennon captains the visitors.

 

Graham Poll, fresh from his eventful World Cup takes charge.
