17 Shot Lampard strikes a diagonal free-kick wide of the wall but Perkins gathers low down. Drogba had been awarded the foul.

28 Offside Drogba finishes emphatically from a superb diagonal through-ball by Ballack but the flag goes straight up. No-one tells the lads with the huge 'Goal!' flags who run the whole length of the touchline.

Comment: Chelsea, unable to play at Premiership pace, find it difficult to make technique tell against an athletic All-Stars side. Diagonal balls into the box threaten the Chelsea goal long before the winning strike. Ballack played the pass of the game for Drogba's marginally offside goal. With a game to be saved, Chelsea finish strongly and keeper Cannon deserves credit for keeping us out. Jose Mourinho will pleased with the workout each senior player received; he'll be less happy about an injury to Cole.
