Welcome to a new look official Chelsea website, fresh for the new season.
It is the first total redesign of chelseafc.com for six years and it is a website designed to address the needs of our fans and reflect Chelsea Football Club in 2014.
Extensive supporter research from around the globe was and will continue to be an important part of the club’s digital developments. The website you are looking at today is responsive to the device you are using – equally easy to view on a variety of devices from desktop computers to tablets to smartphones.
The club also appreciates the needs of supporters differ and it aims to serve everyone from our season ticket holders to fans on the other side of the world with a relevant website experience based on their location, device and previous interactions with the club and the website.
Video is a hugely important part of bringing our fans closer to the club and the new chelseafc.com is able to make the most of our in-house channel, Chelsea TV, by delivering exclusive behind-the-scenes content along with freshly digitised past games and interviews.
Another exciting offering is the Chelsea Fan Club. Free to join, by simply registering your details the Chelsea Fan Club will serve Blues everywhere with exclusive content, competitions, fun challenges and a personalised digital Fan Club card.
When the match action starts, a new, improved Match Centre will have all the information a Chelsea fan needs before, during and after a game, collected together in one place, and for lovers of football statistics, there is vast array of information now available on our players in interactive form.
All the regular features of the website remain in improved form, and as we said, our fans’ views continue to be vital for making this website the best it can be, so we ask you to please share your thoughts and suggestions by using the red feedback feature in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
