Chelsea Football Club is pleased to announce our fixtures for this summer’s pre-season International Champions Cup, including a home game against Fiorentina at Stamford Bridge.
We host the Viola in our last match of the tournament on Wednesday 5 August, after returning from America where we play three games against New York Red Bulls, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
New York Red Bulls - Wednesday 22 July - New Jersey
Paris Saint-Germain - Saturday 25 July - Charlotte, North Carolina
Barcelona - Tuesday 28 July - Washington D.C.
Fiorentina - Wednesday 5 August - Stamford Bridge
Ticket information for the Fiorentina game, which will kick off at 8pm, is available here. Tickets will be available from as little as £12 for juniors and £25 for adults.
Hospitality packages will be available from tomorrow, Wednesday 29 April.
Our first match of the summer tour to North America, for which the squad will be based in Montreal, Canada, will see us travel to New Jersey to face the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday 22 July at their 25,000-seater home, one of the first dedicated soccer stadiums in America. Kick-off is 8pm local time (1am UK time).
The Blues then travel to Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday 25 July. There we will face Paris Saint-Germain at the 74,000-capacity Bank of America Stadium, home of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers. Kick-off will be 6pm local time (11pm UK time).
Our final game in the United States will be against Barcelona in Washington D.C. on Tuesday 28 July. We will meet at the 79,000-capacity FedEx Field, with an 8pm local time (1am UK time) kick-off. We last visited FedEx Field in 2005 when we beat D.C. United 2-1, months after lifting the Premier League title for the first time.
The squad then returns home to London, where we will host Italian side Fiorentina at 8pm on 5 August in front of our local support before the start of the Barclays Premier League season.
Chelsea Chairman Bruce Buck said: ‘I’m pleased we are able to announce our fixtures for what promises to be an exciting summer.
‘As promised, we face some excellent opposition across several iconic venues in the United States and to top it off we are delighted to be hosting Fiorentina at Stamford Bridge in front of our loyal fans.
‘The tour allows us to prepare fully for the 2015/16 campaign, and I am also pleased to confirm we will be continuing the important work of the Chelsea Foundation during the trip.’
As with all our Here to Play, Here to Stay pre-season tours, Foundation coaches will accompany the squad, organising a series of community projects as part of our commitment to grass roots soccer development in the region. Ticket information for our American pre-season fixtures can be found at internationalchampionscup.com.
You can see all the International Champions Cup matches live on Chelsea TV HD – which will be available from 1 June.
