Wipro and Chelsea helping FC Harlem kids

Chelsea Foundation coaches teamed up with our partners Wipro Digital, DesignIt and FC Harlem at a recent event in New York, helping kids develop their own player profile trading cards.
The day combined academic classroom activities with football skills tests, with the youngsters from the FC Harlem Lions Under-17s team working individually and in groups to achieve their goals, gaining vital experience in design and coding as well as receiving top-level coaching.
Irv Smalls, executive director at FC Harlem, said: ‘This was an amazing event for our young men. Chelsea, Wipro and Designit brought together worlds of football and technology through a creative platform that really engaged our players.’
