Tomori loaned to Hull
news Thu 31 Aug 2017
Fikayo Tomori has joined Hull City on a season-long loan.
The defender won the UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup twice with our Academy and made his debut for the first team on the final day of the 2015/16 campaign. He has been among the substitutes in each of our three league games so far.
Earlier this summer Tomori was a mainstay of the England defence that won the Under-20 World Cup in South Korea, and he then featured on our pre-season tour of Asia.
The 19-year-old embarks on his second loan away from Stamford Bridge having helped Brighton gain promotion at the back end of last season. He joins fellow Chelsea players Michael Hector and Ola Aina at Championship side Hull. They are currently eighth in the table after five games.
