PMB: Chelsea v Stoke City - the numbers

We continue our build-up to the weekend game with a selection of facts and figures from club statistician Paul Dutton....

Chelsea in Numbers

After Tuesday, the Blues are unbeaten in 13 Premier League games played on Boxing Day since a 2-4 defeat at Charlton in 2003.

Cesar Azpilicueta has assisted Alvaro Morata for six of his 10 Premier League goals this season.

Against both Everton and Brighton, the Blues struck 25 shots on goal, more than in any other games this season.

Eden Hazard has had a hand in 15 goals in his past 16 games in all competitions for Chelsea (eight goals, four assists and three aids – as judged by the club statistician).

Chelsea have scored 12 headed goals in the Premier League (16 in all competitions) this term, more than any other club.

The Blues have won 17 of our past 21 games at Stamford Bridge in all competitions losing just two, to Burnley and Manchester City.
