Missed Antonio's pre-Arsenal press conference earlier? Then catch up on all the main talking points here...
David Luiz progressing well
The boss gave us an update on defender, David Luiz, who he says is recovering well from his injury and closing in on a return to action…
‘David Luiz has improved his physical condition a lot and in the last few days he’s been working with us. He could be in contention for the Norwich game.
‘[Charly] Musonda is in the same condition as David, he’s nearly ready and could be in contention for the Norwich game too.
‘Other than that, the rest of my players are all available for tomorrow and I’m very happy because of this.’
The Italian emphasised how important it was to have all his players fit and firing for the second half of the season…
‘It is very important in my plan to involve all my players.
‘We are doing a really good job in this situation, because we are making many rotations but at the same time our results are positive, and it means all my players are working very well.
‘My target is to have all my players in the peak of their form, especially as there is now the second part of the season and this is the very important part because you are able to reach your target or not reach you target.’
Tough battle with the Gunners
Tomorrow marks the first of three games with Arsenal this month, with Conte expecting difficult encounters each time we meet…
‘For us in this period we must be very focused on our target and tomorrow we have a really tough game against Arsenal. We have to find the right concentration.
‘When you play against Arsenal, every game is very important and tomorrow’s game is very important for the league. For sure we want to try our best and get three points and also to give satisfaction to our fans.’
Antonio spoke about the transfer window, which officially opened yesterday, and the speculation it brings…
‘It’s normal [for speculation] when the transfer window opens. It’s a difficult moment for every coach, every club because you get so much speculation.
‘For us I think this period we must be very focused on our target and tomorrow we have a really tough game against Arsenal. We need to find the right concentration for this, the club will do the best for the team in the transfer market.’
Maintaining the harmony
Our Head Coach ended his press conference by stating that he doesn’t anticipate any of his current players leaving Stamford Bridge this month…
‘I am very happy to work with these players and I trust in these players.
‘I don’t see a problem but at the same time I can understand if some players are not playing with regularity and want to play with regularity.
‘My expectation is for all the players that we have in the squad to stay here and to try to continue to work, and also because our squad is not big and it is impossible to send on loan one player or sell one player if we do not take another player.’
