Under-18s at home: 1,000 not out

Last week marked the milestone passing of 1000 days since our Under-18s were beaten at home, a run stretching 48 games in all competitions back to April 2015.

The phenomenal record kicked off with a 3-1 victory over West Brom 32 months ago, the Baggies the first of 22 sides to be hosted without inflicting defeat on the young Blues. Only Liverpool have visited and not been beaten during that period.

The FA Youth Cup has been retained on three occasions, with triumphs in the Under-18 regional and national leagues added to complete a remarkable trophy Treble last season. The run of 48 matches unbeaten at home beats our previous club-best at the Under-18 level, which was 39 matches in the 1950s.
