Callum Hudson-Odoi is in the running for the PL2 Player of the Month for January.
The 17-year-old, who has recently played his first football for the first team, was on target twice in a big PL2 win away at Sunderland last month and played a major part in the progression to the semi-final of the Checkatrade Trophy. He is Chelsea topscorer in both competitions this season.
Hudson-Odoi is one of four players nominated for the January award, along with Tyrese Campbell (Stoke City), Ryan East (Reading) and Eddie Nketiah (Arsenal).
The shortlist is selected by the Premier League Football Development panel after PL2 club managers nominated the best individual performance from each of their opponents during the month. Performances in PL2, PL Cup, PL International Cup and Checkatrade Trophy, and first-team appearances are all considered.
The winner will be announced on Friday 16 February.
